All the hottest trend come out of LA and ar mostly copied by the rest of us around the world several months later and the same will probably happen with this ingenius marketing ploy by Kogi who make a fusion of Mexican and Korean food. They smart part is that they supply the food out of the van that you can see below and people have no idea where the van will show up and the only way to locate it’s whereabouts is by following it’s twitter updates. It has turned into a funny game with people driving all over town trying to track down the truck. I can only presume the food is also awesome because no matter how good the marketing plan is there is no way people would go to those lengths to drive after a takeaway truck if the food wasn’t good! I love all the cool new ways in which twitter is being used to market food and I have a feeling that if I was in LA I would be one of the people driving around following that truck!
