Chefs cut themselves all the time. It is one of the perils of the trade but if there is one thing that you should probably not do that is cut yourself on live TV. You also certainly don’t expect to see 3 Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay cut himself either, but he does! One of the most popular TV shows over the last couple of years has been Raymond Blanc’s The Restaurant on BBC where 10 aspiring couples are given a restaurant each and set weekly tasks with the winning couple getting to keep their restaurant and take Blanc on as a business partner.
